bueno el producto llego en muy buen estado, es la primera vez que compraba en amazon ahora todo lo que pueda lo voy a comprar aqui porque son responsables y los envios llegan en el tiempo requerido y sin ningun desperfecto

I purchased this guitar for my brother as a gift at Christmas. He absolutely loves it and keeps thanking me to this day.

1. This is a STARcaster, not a STRATocaster.
2. The tremolo arm (whammy bar) can only downbend (it cannot upbend). There are 3 springs. /|\
3. $142.99 + standard shipping works out to exactly $200. I received it in the mail in only 2 days, even though I paid the standard shipping which is 3-5 business days.
4. You get a lot for $200: Guitar (comes ready to play), stand, amp, cable, headphones, shoulder strap, spare strings, travel bag, Tuner (batteries included), 3 picks (mediums), and a tutorial DVD (it's a free sample DVD, not that great).
5. I'm a beginner to electric guitars, so I can't really judge on quality. But I don't notice any big problems. Only complaints thus far are that the strings easily go out of tune, esp when I use the tremelo (not sure if it's because these are new strings or because of the tremelo). I also find that if you want to use the tremelo, it requires a lot of pressure to push it down to and get it started.

DO NOT BUY THIS. I can not stress that enough. You can buy a real Fender Stratocastor for a few hundred more on[...] . Yeah you might think that this a good deal, but its not. Yeah its pretty good for $259.99, but you really should get a Fender STRATOCASTOR, not a Starcastor.

pros:
ok well first of all i am a beginner for learning a guitar... so i can not really say that this is the best one out there because i know there is way better ones out there.... but for the price, and for beginners this is a great deal and plays well...
cons: the advertisement on amazon says all the great things that it comes with in the "Fender Starcaster Strat Pack - 3-Tone Sunburst"....BUT, What it advertises is incorrect... it said that it come with a "guitar stand, and instructional DVD"... well it doesnt!!!
make sure you read the whole description and you will notice that it was listed to have the "guitar stand, and instructional DVD" in two places.... but like i said before it DOES NOT come with those items...
